Scott, McKenzie, Delaney, Cooper, Boston,
Grandpa Billy and Emily's friend Chris were at mile marker 24 to cheer on the runners.
Annette was the first one in at 4 hours and 13 minutes. To look at Annette you would think that it was a breeze for her, but she became ill about 6 miles before the end of the race, but what a trooper, she kept going until she finished.

Emily was feeling great at this point, but soon later she was feeling the pains of a marathon. Later in the evening she and Annette had a massage given by one of Scott and Annette's friends that seemed to sooth a few of the aches and pains they were experiencing.
Emily came in at around 4 hours and 40 minutes. She had been training with her roomate Chelsey and they both did well in the race. They are not only students but try to keep active by running every chance they get.
After the race we quickly left for Delaney's soccer game. It was so fun to see her playing with her friends and scoring goals to help her team out. Delaney is a fast little runner and a great soccer player.
Here is a fun shot with Delaney's team members after they finished their game. Cute little girls.
